Follow the steps to initiate your University of Minnesota Morris student account. This will give you access to your UMN Morris email and other university systems.

Complete the Fall 2022 New Student Checklist
The Fall 2022 New Student Checklist is where you will sign up for a New Student Orientation date, sign up for housing, take placement exams required before registering for certain classes, and more important information.
New Student Orientation
You will sign up for your New Student Orientation date in the Fall 2022 New Student Checklist.
Sign ups for New Student Orientation dates close three days before the date. However, they may close sooner if a session fills. Sign up for your New Student Orientation dates as soon as possible.

Information about Paying for College and Working on Campus
FAFSA—Free Application for Federal Student Aid
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the only application needed to receive federal, state, or institutional financial aid at the University of Minnesota Morris. Complete the FAFSA online using Federal School Code 002389. You must include the school code for your results to be sent to UMN Morris.
